“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr
Yes, faith is believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. It is in the darkness that you can clearly see the stars. Faith is knowing that even though you have nothing now, but better things are coming. Faith allows you to suffer with meaning. Suffering with meaning is about taking the pain of life’s beatings, disappointments, hurts, delays which are called failures and rejections in your stride and say, ‘better days are coming and I’ll hold on in spite of.’
Life has shown again and again that faith is seeing the invisible, believing the unbelievable and that surely leads to one receiving the impossible. You see, we all get stuck in certain situations from time to time, but what gets you out of it is focusing your mind beyond it. That is the reason we are told to walk by faith not by sight. I’ve, in so many instances, been so taken aback by the power of faith where I had trusted without reservations and I finally got what initially seemed impossible.
Yes, you may be going through a lot right now, but always know that better days are coming. Your faith is surely stretched when nothing works and your life seems to be falling apart. Always remember that doubt creates mountains whereas faith moves them.
When you have faith in yourself, you don’t have to rely on others to believe in you. So, accept what it is, let go of what was and have faith in what will be. The world has long been waiting for your greatness and now is your time to unleash it and shine brighter!
