People of substance who have achieved great success have this common attitude and philosophy about them that says, “I will do it until…” Here, I’m talking about success as an inner ideal which is persistently followed with courage. This means defining a goal and having the resolve to complete it, no matter what. It’s all about saying, I’ll do it or die. It’s about promising yourself that you’ll read the books until your skills change. That you’ll go to the seminars until you get the handle of it. That you’ll do it until it makes sense. That you’ll practice it until you get it right. That you won’t give up until you get where you want to be, however hard or long that is, step by step, piece by piece, book by book, seminar by seminar, doing it until…
Until is a very important word here, it’s magic. It means you’ll never give up. It means you’ll never miss the chance to pay the price until you learn and grow. It’s only when you grow that you discover some of life’s great treasures, only when you are prepared to pay the price.
It’s this attitude that sets high achievers apart. They become fruitful and productive. To be fruitful and productive means to be able to produce far more than you need for yourself so that you can bless others as well.
